Politically Charged Teens

Can't vote? Don't worry! You can make a difference at any age. Check out these politically charged teens:

Sarah Boltuck at age 17 challenged voter registration in the state of Maryland. With the help of State Senator Jamie Rasking, her dad, and FairVote, she worked so that 17 year olds could vote in the Maryland primary and helped register eligible teens in time for the primary.

Matt Vaughn, age 19, organized call-ins to each of the presidental primary campaigns this year. He made history by getting all of the candidates to go on record with their plans to fight global poverty and disease.

Kianna Reese, age 19, is a Presidential Campaign voluteer for Obama. She made hundreds of phone calls, managed volunteers, visited high schools and college campuses to get Obama's message out.

Teen gamers tend to incorporate many aspects of civic and political life; they go online for information about politics, raise money for charity and get involved.
